Description:
Dance Re:Ignite is a project framework of participatory and training activities and celebrations designed to enhance and develop dance practice and infrastructure of provision for 55+ year olds in Hertfordshire.
Louise White and Annie Smith will work regularly with the Dacorum group, alongside visual artists Katharine Harper and Kerry Lanigan, from January to March 2024, to create a new dance piece. Participants will also have the option to devise and co-lead a workshop package in the community, before performing in a local tour. The new dance piece will be performed at 10 venues across Dacorum (April 2024 – February 2025) and in the Dance Re:Ignite Festival in July 2024 & 2025.
