Jane has been working as a dancer/teacher/choreographer for over 30 years following training in western theatre dance styles and contemporary techniques and holds BA and MA degrees from Middlesex University. Early experiences dancing for the Scala Ballet Barcelona to touring children’s theatre and leading community dance organization/magazine DICE has inspired her interdisciplinary approach in leading participatory and performative projects. Her interest in creative improvisation as a complex choreographic system led to a doctoral award from Chichester University in 2012. Jane also teaches at London Metropolitan University.
