Event: Hertfordshire Dance Teachers’ Conference 2022

Hertfordshire CDTA is delivering it’s fourth biennial dance conference, offering teachers a chance to be inspired, refresh their dance skills and network with other teachers responsible for delivering dance in their school.

The day will be led by practitioners from ZooNation and the Akram Khan Company.  They will provide a practical insight into their approaches to creation, repertoire and technique.  There will be an emphasis on storytelling through dance.

The event is suitable for Primary, Special and Secondary school teachers and freelance practitioners.  The workshop sessions will be split according to different phases.

Hertfordshire Dance Teachers’ Conference 2022

BEEE Creative in collaborations with the Hertfordshire CDTA will run the Hertfordshire Schools’ County Dance Festival 2022.This will be a two-day event including up to 50 schools and 650 performers aged 5 –18 years old.The theme of the 2022 Festival is ‘Spin it Around’ and we look forward to various narrative, abstract or thematic responses taking inspiration from music album covers.
