LEAP was a dance and interdisciplinary development programme for primary schools in Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Luton from April 2023 to July 2025, with a focus on creative exploration and co-creation. Working with seven primary schools, it enabled pupils and teachers to try a range of dance, arts and technology approaches alongside professional artists/creatives, to become co-creators of artistic outputs. 

It was delivered through: artist led CPD workshops /mentoring, artists-in-residence in the schools, resources development, ambassadors for dance education and a final exhibition/festival of work by children and young people.

The artistic content was developed in collaboration with MakeAmplify, Hinterland Creative, Controlled Frenzy, Flicker Mill, Tom Hobden, Sam Ivin Photography and Hannah Delaney Dance.  The delivery in schools was led by Rebecca Benford, Hannah Delaney, Claire Hackston, Hannah Pickett and Michael Joseph.
