Anji is a mixed media artist using and exploring a variety of mediums; textiles, sculpture, installations, photography, projections, drawing and illustrations. Anji trained in Constructed Textiles specialising in traditional woven tapestry at Middlesex University and graduated in 1992. In 1996 Anji studied for a MA in Art & Media Practice at the University of Westminster using unusual locations to exhibit her artworks..
Alongside making her art practice, Anji works freelance, delivering art workshops and educational experiences with people of all ages and abilities with an emphasis on the narrative and exploring the sensory.. This has enabled Anji to work with various organisations locally and nationally such as: Tate Liverpool BEEE Creative, The Funky Pie Company,, Royal Opera House, Grizedale Sculpture Park, Theatre Venture and Hampton Court Palace. Anji is co-director of Open Art Box, a Hertfordshire based organisation facilitating art activities for people living with dementia and their careers.
